Your Rights Under Massachusetts Law

Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 152 requires virtually all employers to carry workers' compensation insurance covering medical expenses and a portion of lost wages.

The DIA Hearing Process

When a claim is disputed, the Department of Industrial Accidents (DIA) conducts conciliation, then a conference, and if unresolved, a full evidentiary hearing before a judge.
